At the Muskoka Lakes Museum, we value and rely on our members, donors and many supporters to help us carry out the very important task of preserving our heritage. Without member support, the museum could not offer the variety of programs, nor the exhibits and services the community enjoys. In addition to individual memberships, the museum strives to supplement funding with various government grants, admission donations, workshop fees, fundraising events and gift shop revenue. As the museum enters its 46th season, membership and donations still remain the single largest source of funding for our work. Representing nearly half of the museum's funding each year, memberships and donations play a critical role in ensuring the future success of our community museum.
